The Weather didn't let us down, the rain stayed away and we had a great opportunity to get some lovely photographs of the day. Keady Chapel was decked out in beautiful flowers and the whole wedding party looked just fantastic. The bride and groom left the chapel in a cream horse drawn carriage.. there`s something about horses that makes the day that little bit more precious when it come to the images and the whole feeling of a wedding, The bride and groom are jetting off to tour America for there honeymoon I hope they have a great time... anyway just a few images from their day here for you to look at...
Thank goodness a bit of sunshine at last and a ray of hope for the summer, fingers crossed. The Bride and Groom must have synchronized there watches for this wedding as they arrived seconds apart, it was a bit special as I knew a lot of the guests and have known the groom for years... Ciara looked stunning in her bridal gown and the mix of colour with the bridesmaids and the backdrop of lough Erne it was easy to get a great mix of images to work with, even the brides Granny had a fabulous house a real true traditional Irish farm house whitewashed walls and all. I would have loved to have stayed longer as it was pretty special... I might return to get a few snaps just of the house.. The best man was a local publican and professional wedding guest, he seems to be at most weddings in some guise or other he even had ideas about the photography and poses etc etc, all in all a great

Helena and Darren had to contend with some pretty awful weather but somehow the weather was kind just when it needed to be
and we took some lovely images of them both Helena was a natural for the camera she takes a great photo and that makes life real easy for me, we ended the day at the reception in the Cookstown Greenvale Hotel i have never been to a reception which was so well time coordinated and the food was great and the band played and i left as the bride and groom where dancing there way into the night... What a great occasion the wedding of Leo and Maria, a lovely laid back couple made for an easy day as they where just a treat to work with, nothing was too much trouble and I hope we captured the day and the experience for them. Their friends an family
had traveled quite a distance for the occasion and Leos people from Cork made us all feel very welcome indeed.. I hope i get the chance to shoot another wedding in Adare as its a beautiful town situated in a great part if Ireland.. Heres some images ...
Well the latest outing provided for a fun day indeed a wonderful ceremony in Cloughogue Chapel followed swiftly be a couple of Pints in the lovely O’Hare’s bar in Carlingford. Then on to the four seasons for dinner with music provided by Newry`s best entertainer Kevin Kearney... Tracy was an absolute star I couldn’t have had a better subject to photograph (I think shes done some photographic work before) Darren was great too and very laid back its strange sometimes the way thing s work when you have a great couple to photograph.... Just had the wettest and coldest weekend of my life, all for the sake of a few pics of the 2008 World Rally Champion Sebastian Loeb, now winner of Rally Ireland, the First race in the 2009 WRC Rally season... It just shows the World that great things can be achived here in Ireland, the event was maticulously organised and Rally Ireland was a resounding success here`s some images, A bit of a detour from my normal line of business and a great challenge, its always necessary to remove yourself from your comfort zone once in a while and this weekend certainly didnt let me down in that respect!!!!
A great couple got married this week in Donegal, all the way from Austraila and super laid back I really couldnt belive how relaxed they both were, and the after party!!those aussies really no how to let there hair down. They were helped out by a great crowd from Derry as that was the brides home town.. Solis castle is a fantastic venue for a wedding reception and wedding photography with amazing scenery close at hand the Castle itself is just beautiful.. A lovely occasion over the Christmas period and another wedding at the fabulous Dominican in Newry, then on to the Ballymcscanlon in Dundalk It was great weather for the wedding and we managed to get some lovely images even though we where shackled a bit by the onset of early darkness at this time of year. We had a very special and very famous Irish guest in attendance and i`ll post a picture soon of Him??? anway here`s a quick image for starters...
I really must try harder with this blog thing as I just havent had a lot of time of late and now were in 2009 and my last post was August. Well over the next couple of weeks I hope to get the whole thing upto date.. and post a few of the latest wedding images weve had some fantastic weddings over the recent months and weve been treated to a little celebrity guest.... aswell
Over the past few months I have been incredably busy with weddings and a number of other projects. Well I dont oftern blow my own trumpet but the image that is attached to this post is in my mind the best wedding picture I have ever taken it just says everything these two people are just so happy to be married and so willing to show everyone that they are in love and together, this image tells the whole story It may not be to everyones taste but I think its spot on....
Fridays wedding, rain did not stop play (But it Tried) unfortunatly every now and again the weather just dosnt hold out for us and we get a bit wet, I dont really mind because I think im still waterproof.. but the gears not and I hate it getting wet the Bride and Groom where great and little isobel was a star.. a real performer heres a shot of them all...

Perfect weather conditions and a top class location for the reception backed up with outstanding Wedding Cars provided By www.Vintageweddingcars.biz Two 1930s Rolls Royce cars one even belonged to the Queen at some stage, The food at the receception was First class... anyway here's an image

A fine day was had by all in Portadown and then on to the Armagh City Hotel It was very warm in the little chapel and the Groom was overcome by the heat and the occasion. he took time out during the ceremoney to get some air, it was a great break and it led to a wonderful humerous and human ceremoney when it continued, it was a great ice breaker (I thnk all weddings should take a bit of a breather in the middle) anyway we managed to miss the rain and had a photosession at the Palace Stables.. Id have to say I was a bit dissapointed with the gardens..

Im a bit late on this one as I have been busy easter mondays Wedding. It was a lovely day blue skys and large fluffy clouds but it was damm cold Luke and myself geared up for a long day on our feet and set to work. We captured some fantastic images and had a great time in competition with eachother to see who would get that killer shot. I got a more consistant bag but Luke got the best shot of the day I think..
Well today sees some of the local Children taking there first holy communion, its a big day for them, I still remember mine its not really that long ago, just 35 years or so, anyway i got some lovely images of them. I set-up a studio in a classroom in the school and had quite a few in for photos as usuall the girls are always up for it and the boys take a little more coaxing,,

A day of pain and pleasure, The wedding was a pleasure to shoot
albiet the rain, however my knee was killing me and I was
trying to use one leg more than the other and now I`ve got two sore
legs. Just my luck. Anyway the wedding turned up some surprises
for the bride, the groom ordered a horse drawn carriage for her,
it was a truly moving moment to see how astounded she was..
It`s really an honour to attend peoples weddings and be part of their
big day.. Just a pic or two here...
This week started with a unplesant experiance in hospital for
a small operation by heaven it hurt.. Well i`m home now and on
the way to a full a recovery and thats not a bad thing as I`ve got
an all day wedding to cover tomorrow, morning until night.My
trusty assistant Luke will have to be on the ball as hell have to
direct the event and do a lot of running for me, hes a great help

Well its weekend and raining again, I cant comlpain because I`ve had good weather for the weddings even if it did pour from the heavens after we did the group shots.

Its the first time I`ve done this so I cant really say a lot.. I`m very busy at the moment and have just returned from a week in Belgium, the weather was fantastic "It wasnt raining" I`m currently getting ready for a shoot in a weeks time and am busy editing a wedding shot two weeks ago..
